Elections of the 2008 WTLL Board of Directors

To All Parents of Westwood Terrace Little League:
Our current constitution and by-laws indicate that we must elect a board of directors to be in office by September 30th of each year to start the new season on October 1st. This is usually held at the General Meeting in September.
What we would like to do this year is to take nominations from anyone who is interested in being on the board of directors for the 2007-2008 season now. We will be taking nominations until June 5th. On Monday, June 11th we will be having a meeting at the baseball field at 8pm to elect 16 people to serve on the board from these nominations. Then on Friday, June 15th we will announce the new board of directors who will take office on October 1, 2007.
The following are the positions that consist of the WTLL Board of Directors:
President
Vice President – Baseball
Vice President – Softball
Treasurer
Secretary
Registar
Safety Office
Concessionaire Equipment Manager
Field Maintenance Coordinator
Fundraiser Coordinator
T-Ball Player Agent
Coach Pitch Player Agent
Minor Baseball Player Agent
Major Baseball Player Agent
Jr/Sr Baseball Player Agent

Fire at Westwood Terrace Little League
Vandals have struck at the WTLL fields. They set a fire on the portable building that was used to conduct registration and as an off season storge building. All of the files that we had were destroyed. Also baseball/softball equipment such as tee stands, bases, helmets used uniforms and items such as gloves and shoes that were donated. Also destroyed in the fire were dozens of baseballs and softballs. We are in the process of trying to clean up the mess and see how we are going to replace the equipment. Please bare the mess.
