Dave Maynard has been coaching water polo since 1994. He began his career as a coach in the Empire State Games in New York, and has since found home at the University of Wyoming. As a player, Dave was an All Conference player at the University of Wyoming, and was fortunate enough to compete against the top national and international players. Coach Dave prides himself on his experience coaching kids of all ages and skill levels. In all of his coaching endeavors, Dave has learned to emphasize the small victories and learning experiences that come out of a competition. He chooses not to base success on whether a team won or lost the game. "It is these victories and learning experiences that I wish to share with the water polo community. However, if I could share one philosophy that each player should follow, it would be this: "Have fun and play hard!"
eteamz is proud to have Dave Maynard as an online water polo coach. Dave will be hosting monthly chats and will do his best to answer questions and answer bulletin board posts. While eteamz is excited to have Coach Dave contributing his instructional content, eteamz encourages everyone to submit their water polo instruction as well.
