Bus will pick up WCC Athletes starting Wednesday, March 26. Meet by the gym entrance at John Jay at 2:45. Ketchum gym entrance by 3:00. Should arrive at boathouse @ 3:30.
At the BOATHOUSE UNLESS YOU ARE A COACH YOU SHOULD NEVER STOP, PARK OR DROP OFF ROWERS BEHIND THE BUILDING. UNLESS YOU ARE PULLING A BOAT TRAILER YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE ON THE SIDEWALK OR FRONT APRON. Carpools drop off on the south side of the building. Rowers driving up park in the gravel lot. Park as close as you can get. *** DO NOT stop, park or slow down in front of the Vassar boat house *** *** DO NOT PARK BEHIND THE BUILDING*** There will soon be 600 rowers using this building please abide by these rules.

- Saturday - No Race - Practice at the boathouse

Welcome to the website of the Wappingers Crew Club
WCC will begin its fourth season in Spring ’08. We are a parent supported Wappingers Central School District club, competing in Scholastic Regattas with other schools in the Hudson Valley. Students are from John Jay and Roy C Ketcham High Schools, as well as from Van Wyck and Wappingers Junior High Schools. The team had a successful ‘07 season with our Girls Jr. 4+ rowing in the National Championships (finishing with the 4th fastest time in the qualifying heats). Our head Coach is Pat Hancock, Earth Science Teacher at JJHS, assisted by Kerri Roger, Math teacher at JJHS, Laura Ladd from Mid-Hudson Rowing, and Tyler Ludwig, JJHS and WCC graduate, and Gretchen Teal also from Mid-Hudson Rowing.
