The dates and times have been set for the second annual Walton Summer Soccer Camp. This camp is open to youth soccer players who are incoming freshmen and younger in age. This is a great way for future Walton soccer players, or anyone wanting to improve their game, to meet with the Varsity coaches, and learn some great soccer skills and have some fun.
Instruction will be by Walton coaches, including Bucky Boozer and Bruce Wade. Coach Boozer, men's head varsity coach, was named high school coach of the year last season, and has put together a string of unforgettable seasons during his many years at Walton, including a State Championship in 2006. Coach Wade, women's head varsity coach, has an equally impressive record, making annual playoff appearances and region championship titles.
There are 2 camp sessions offered. May 27-30 and June 9-12. Each 4 day camp will be held at the Walton Stadium field from 9am -12 noon daily. You can attend one or both sessions. The cost is $100 for each 4 day session, or $30 for individual day campers.
You do not have to be a future Walton student to attend this camp. Please see the Camp Registration Form (Handout below) for more details and payment instructions. If you have questions, please contact Mike Fuller for further information at mfullers@bellsouth.net.
