Fall Ball is intended to improve Little League skills  – emphasis on having fun and learning to play ball in game situations - not on winning!

Location:                      Pacific Little League Veterans Medical Center Fields

Dates & Times:             Tuesday August 12^th , Thursday August 14^th  from 5:30-7:30 PM

                                    Saturday August 16^th and Sunday August 17^th from 1:00-4:00 PM

                        Saturday August 23^rd  and Sunday August 24^th from 1:00-4:00 PM                                  

Eligible Players:             Little League age is determined by the 2009 Little League Season

                                    (12 year olds in 2008 will not be eligible to play Fall Baseball)

Divisions:                      Major Division ages 9-12 years old

Minor Division ages 7-9 years old (Number of registered players will determine if there will be a Minor Division)

Player Fee:                   $50.00  - tee shirt and cap are provided

All Volunteers:             Must fill out and pass a 50 state-wide background check

                                    Note:  A copy of your driver license is required at registration

Other Needs:                Bring with you to registration –

Copy of player’s original State issued Birth Certificate

AND

3 separate copies of “Proof of Residence”

2008 Little League Photo Contest Award Winners Chosen

The second-place photo was taken by Wes Hibner, a minor division baseball coach in the Walla Walla (Wash.) Pacific Little League. The subject was a play at home plate as the catcher and base runner both wait to see the umpire’s call.

Little League volunteers from across the United States send in entries that are evaluated at Little League International and three winners are selected. This is the 11th year the contest has been conducted.

The three winning photographs, selected from more than 50 entries, will be on display at the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum, with the top photographs from the past nine contests.
