Wednesday, August 13 Vipers Fastpitch Ramping Up A U12 Team
Vipers Fastpitch of PA will be conducting tryouts for thier U12 squad. The first round of tryouts will be on Saturday 23 August from 10:00 -12:00 with a rain date of Sunday 24 August from 12:00- 2:00. The second day of tryouts will run on Wednesday 27 August from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. All sessions will be conducted at Stetson Middle School in West Chester PA. Wednesday, August 13 Vipers Blue 16U Finish Strong in the 2008 USSSA National Tournament During July 2008 Vipers Blue 16U traveled to Columbus Indiana to compete in the USSSA World Series. The team racked up a 7-2 record which earned them 7th place in a field of 58 teams.
Wednesday, June 11 Three Vipers Blue Players Make the Carpenter's Cup Softball Team Catcher Brittany Brignola, made the Chester County Carpenter's Cup team and pitcher Marcelle Crist and Michelle Ciance made the Delaware County Carpenter's Cup teams. Play will commence on June 23rd. Check your local sports pages for play times and locations. Wednesday, June 4 Vipers Fastpitch of PA Blue Earns Berth to USSSA Nationals In their first tournament of the season and after playing 10 games in two days Vipers Fastpitch of PA (Blue) placed second in the USSSA 2008 6GG Memorial Day Tournament which was held in Quakertown PA on May24th. The Vipers bested 10 other teams in this double elimination tournament. The second place finish earned the team a bid in the USSSA National World Series in Indiana in late July. Sunday, October 28 Vipers Red Earn Berth to 2008 USSSA Nationals Tuesday, July 10 Both Vipers Fastpitch Squads Win Berths to USSSA and PONY Nationals Both VIPERS Fastpitch, U14 and U16 squads won berths to thier respective USSSA National World Series and PONY Nationals. During the week of 22 July 2007, the U14 squad will be competing in Orlando Florida and the U16 will be competing in Ocean City Maryland. Saturday, October 7 Vipers Fastpitch of PA Qualify for Nationals For The Second Year in a Row After posting a 34-12-2 season record VIPERS Fastpitch OF PA made a second trip to the NSA Nationals in Salem, Virgina. While in Salem the Squad placed 16th in a field of 63 teams. Tuesday, July 10 Vipers Fastpitch U14 and U16 take home Silver in PA Sates Tuesday, July 10 Vipers U14 Moving Up At the end of this 2007 season the VIPERS Fastpitch U14 squad will be moving up to U16. Thier new designation will be VIPERS Fastpitch U16 RED. The new U16 squad will join the existing U16 squad which will be designated as VIPERS Fastpitch U16 BLUE. |
