Kids involved in the skills competition tomorrow should be at the field no later than 3:00 PM. We are going to check into the hotel around 1:00 PM and be at the field around 2:00PM. (wear your white uniforms to the skills comp) If you are not staying at the hotel tonight it would probably be wise to skip the skills competion, it would be a long way to travel for a this event?????
Overall record now 16-18-1
Our schedule will not change this week, we will play CC on Tuesday at home and the sandlot Brighton team in a double header on Wednesday before our final tournament weekend / week in St. Clair.

We played three tough 16U teams and lost two 1 run games and lost a third 5-0 in a much closer game than the score shows. Unfortunatly we made way to many defensive errors to beat good teams.
Record now 14-17-1
Ivor James tournament is now being played at Allen Park High School.

After our break We split two double headers against Soth Lyon and South Farmington our record now stands at 13-10-1
We had a rough week as far as wins / losses go we were beat by Novi and Catholic Central in league play and In the Madonna Tournament we finished with a record of 1-2-1. We played much better baseball in the tournament games against very good teams than we did against our league opponents.
Our game against Pickney was rained out.
Our overall record stands at 11-8-1
We are off over the 4th of July weekend!
Brighton ended the tournament on a good note beating a good hitting Clarkston team 8-7 by scoring three runs in the bottom of the 7th. Good job!
Our overall all record is now 10-4 and our legue record stands at 4-0
Novi will be out for revenge Tuesday.
Brighton had a rough start to The Brighton U16 Tournament losing to the Milford A's 12-5 and losing to the Grand Ledge Gold team 14-9 in a game we were winning 9-5 going into the top of the 6th inning. This is the first real tough loss for our ball club, this loss eliminated us from contention in the tournament.
Our overall all record is now 9-4 and our legue record stands at 4-0
Note: Our game against Pickney Monday Has been Postponed. We nwill play a double header against them on the June 27th.
Again after a slow start and getting down 6-0 in the 1st inning. We were able to come back and win the game 13-12 against the Brighton U16 team.

Brighton again came from behind in a lack luster performance to beat the South Lyon team 8-7. I think we were suffering from post tournament let down, but with some late hits and bunts we were able to post a victory.
Brighton had a successful U16 CABA State Tournament coming in second out of 12 teams. In pool play Brighton had a victoy against the Shelby Storm 9-8 and a loss to the Michigan Titans 6-1. In the championship brackets we had victories against the Troy Colts 8-0, the Bloomfield Sting 9-0, and The Concealed Security Dodgers 7-5. In the Championship game we lost to the NFWB Cobras 9-2. Good Job Bulldogs! We have accepted a bid to the U15 CABA World series back in St. Clair in July (21-30).
Brighton played the newly formed selcra/sandlot baseball team and won a easy 15-1 game.
our record is now 3-0
Excellent win! Brighton scored 7 runs with two outs in the top of the 7th to come away with a 9-4 win over a strong Novi ball club.

Schedule Changes: Pickney make up will be on June 19 @ Pickney 6:30 PM. Our game against Catholic Central will be played on June 22 @ Catholic Central (changed from the 21st).
Please arrive at all games 1 hour prior to game time. Away league games will be played in black jersey's with black socks, Home games will be played in white jerseys with orange socks. Bring both Jerseys to all games just in case we deside to make a change. Also, be sure to have both jerseys at all tournament games.
