ASAP
We finally ended up with 100% of District 5 Leagues submitting an ASAP program for the 2008 season. All leagues have an approved ASAP, except for Breckenridge and Coleman who each have three items that need to be submitted to Little League International to complete their plans. Thanks to each league and to the individuals who work on this each season. Safety is a very important component of your Little League and taking the time to implement a plan is commendable.

Tournament Interest Form now available
The Texas District 5 Tournament Interest Form is now available. All leagues need to complete the form and return by email or fax as soon as possible so that we may proceed with plans for the post season.

District Tournament Date Change
The date for the District Tournament has been changed to June 7 through June 14, 2008. The change came at the request and approval of the leagues in attendance at the Presidents Pre-Season Meeting on February 16th.
I have tentatively adjusted the start date to Saturday, June 7, 2008.

District 5 Burger Combo Competition... who's got the BEST DEAL in District 5??? FInd out this season as District 5 ballpark concession stands take the test!
Send your nomination and testimony to D5BCC. Burger combos will be judged on presentation, value, taste, and customer service... You never know when an undercover judge will be eating at your ballpark!!!
Winner(s) will be announced near the end of the season!
