Lessons Learned at Freeze Your Fanny

1. Twenty-four degrees at the start of this ride is merely a distraction from the "moderate" hills.
2. Booties and face covering from The Bike Source are some of the best investments you can make--I wouldn't have made it without them! (but you should see the pic of me trying to put on the booties at the last minute!)
3. The homemade sugar cookies at the rest stop were almost worth freezing for.
4. Some people should never peel off layers of clothes in a portapotty.

One thing I can't figure out is how Jim and David finished the 60 miles before the rest of us finished the 46, but I think it had something to do with why Jim could barely walk afterward.

New Years Day Ride 2007!!
NEW YEARS DAY RESOLUTION RIDE
11 am Monday from Glenwood Wellness Center front parking lot.
Start your year off with a fitness bang and join us for an approximate 25 mile ride at 11 am 01-01-2007. If you miss this ride you are telling us you are not serious about having fun cycling this year!!

It will be cool (mid 40's) but we all have the gear to handle our 1st ride of the NEW YEAR.   See attached chart if you need any help picking out your outfit. This is a fun group ride and nobody will be dropped. If needed we will break into several groups to accompany all riders, but the hot chocolate is for the group finishing with Jonette and myself!
