TriValley Baseball Open 2006 Season
May 22 2006: The Tri-Valley Baseball League begins another year of summer youth baseball starting on Sunday June 4th. The season will run through mid-July and be followed by a championship playoff series. Comprised of 40 teams from 11 area towns, the League offers youths the opportunity to play summer baseball regardless of their skill level. The League’s philosophy is to encourage all 13 - 16 year old area youths to play baseball by establishing “no cut”, minimum playing time rules and requiring each town to enter evenly balanced teams.

The League operates two separate divisions, a 13 year old division and a 14-16 year old division. The League includes Ashland, Bellingham, Dover, Sherborn, Holliston, Hopedale, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Sutton, and Uxbridge. Last year a team from Sutton won the 13 year old division championship, and a team from Bellingham won the 14-16 year old division championship.

The League is unique in that it provides inter-town summer baseball encouraging all 13-16 year players to compete. Every youth who wishes and is able to commit to play for the season will have a place on a team roster. Anyone with questions or concerns should check out the League's Web Site at "www.eteamz.com/tvb" or contact any member of the Tri-Valley Baseball League Executive Committee: Toby Burrell 508-359-5210, Dan Bailey 508-395-8040,
