Francis McCarthy passed away on Wednesday, June 18th at his home at the age of 82. He & several gentlemen met on January 15th, 1963 to form Troop 209. He had been involved with scouting for 52 years. Francis will be greatly missed.

The Troop was started January 15, 1963. Please see the Troop History for the original document from the 1st meeting. Boy Scouting is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award, or are at least 11 years old, or have completed the fifth grade, and not yet 18 years old.
