Newmarket United 0 vs 3 Toronto Rangers True Blues

Congratulations ladies on winning the Ben Steenhorst Cup Championship.

True Blues travelled to Ottawa this week-end to take part in the G.I.S.T. tournament hosted by the Gloucester Hornets Soccer Club.

They played there first game against the local team Gloucester Hornets beating them 3-0

There next game was against a very good team from Windsor beating them 2-1

 On Sunday they played Phenix De Quebec AA beating them 5-0

Next was the semi-final against Ottawa Internationals that was tied 1-1 after extra time so it went to a penalty shoot out with the True Blues scoring 5 penalties and Meghan saving a shot from Ottawa, so the True Blues advanced to the final against the Dixie Lady Cougars.

 True Blues scored twice to go on and win the game 2-0

It was an excellent performance from our girls who gave up only 2 goals and scored 13 in the 5 games we played.
