Over 35 players participated in the event. Due to the overwhelming participation by the TIGERS, the local elks club was able to increase the number of food basket deliveries from 45 last year to over 90 this holiday season! Elks Club member, Pat Kennedy, was speechless regarding the turnout and support of the players. Mrs Kennedy was very impressed by the “leadership”, “organization” and “teamwork” of all the young men. Bob Heller, last year’s food drive organizer stated that “They are an army of angels with big hearts.” There is no doubt that each player made a tremendous impact not only on the families who received the food baskets but also the members of the Elks Club. Thank you to all the players who participated. We look forward to helping the Elks once again next Christmas. Again, another example why Holy Family High School is such a special place and the TIGER baseball program is one of the best not only on the field but off too!!Great job TIGERS and a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!!
