12U Fastpitch Softball Team!
We are very excited about the 2008-2009 season and our roster of very talented girls.
Team AZ is returning several girls with club ball experience and adding some solid athletes with great attitudes and big bats!
Our fantastic line-up includes Jaymee, Danae, Kaylin, Katie, Alyssa F, Alyssa D, Jordyn, Ari, Lauren, Jamilia & Mikayla!
We are definately a force to be reckoned with!
Team AZ is IN THE HOUSE!
Team AZ is dedicated to teaching our young ladies to compete at the highest levels of fastpitch softball. We stress teamwork, commitment, dedication, and determination as a means to not only succeed in athletics, but in academics and in life. Our primary goal as an organization is to promote a shared commitment to academic excellence and athletic achievement. Because an emphasis is placed on education, stringent academic standards are a requirement for participation in our program. We hope, that by exposing our young ladies to these types of values, their greatest successes will come in their lives long after they hang up their gloves and spikes.
Our young ladies dream of playing fastpitch softball at the collegiate level as a scholarship athlete. Team AZ teaches goal setting and a strong work ethic, both on the field and in the classroom, as a means to these ends. As a part of the Junior Olympic movement, we strive to seek out the toughest competition in the nation!
We are always looking for "friendlies" so make sure to contact us if you're interested in getting together on the field.
Check in often to see what we're up to, and if you see us on the field stop and cheer us on!!

TAZ takes the 'ship in the ASA Spring Classic Feb 23rd & 24th 2008
Our TAZ girls took home more championship hardware at Rose Mofford for the ASA Spring Classic tournament! We went undefeated all weekend, winning the 'ship on Sunday afternoon!
Even with an injured pitcher, we were able to step up and come together when it mattered most. The hitting was amazing! Our baserunning and fielding was outstanding and the girls saw what it takes to be Champions, despite adversity!
The 'ship brought a very determined Desert Kaos team to the field. They were scoreless against us on Saturday, but anything can happen when the champtionship is on the line. As we say....."Any given Sunday"!
Ultimately, TAZ's bats were just too hot and the girls were victorious, wrapping up the weekend on a winning note!
Congrats TAZ! Well deserved!
PROUD TO BE...........
TEAM AZ!
TAZ wins TCS Super Bowl Championship January 26, 2008
The TAZ girls were victorious in the TCS Super Bowl Championship tournament, taking first place over the EV Pride-Gonzo!
The tourney spanned two weekends due to all the rain, but in the end, it was Team AZ that rained on the competition, going 5-0!
Awesome job Ladies!

Kaylin Ayotte and Alyssa DiCarlo receive honors for Academic Achievement!
Not only are they great friends and teammates, but TAZ's Kaylin Ayotte and Alyssa DiCarlo are also EXCELLENT STUDENTS!
The duo achieved STRAIGHT A'S for the first two semesters and were awarded Principal's List Academic Achievement! What an accomplishment!
TAZ prides itself on promoting EDUCATION FIRST! All our girls are responsible for bringing grade checks and report cards to practice. Good grades are key to their success and they all know that without them, they would need to put softball on hold until those grades came up. Fortunately, our team is full of "braniacs" as well as "ballers", so no worries there!
Alyssa and Kaylin, we are all so proud of you! Keep up your hard work and dedication, on AND OFF the field!
CONGRATULATONS TO THE BOTH OF YOU!
