Sentinels Going International
Back in June of this year, I received a phone call from Jim Gaczewski who stated he received an email from Russell Kerley of the Dublin Dragons from Dublin Ireland. Russell had express interest in bringing the Dragons to the America to play football. In 1995 and 1996, Jim who was the Head Coach of the then Tampa Bay Guardians, hosted the London football team and took the Guardians overseas to play the London football team. Russell's father was running the London team at the time.
Now the Assistant General Manager of the Dragons, Russell wants to come to Florida and play the Tampa Bay Sentinels. Jim is heading up a committee to bring the Dragons to the U.S. in 2010. Will the Sentinels slay the Dragons or will the Dragons flame broil the Sentinels. Stay tune for updates.
