FALL, 2008 SEASON IS HISTORY!

SYSA sends a big "THANK YOU" to all who made this season such a success with another increase in players - now at over 300!

We would like to recognize members of our executive board of directors (president, vice-president, secretary & treasurer) and coordinators of the many and varied tasks that are necessary to make the league run....registration, publicity, travel teams, referees, refreshments, uniforms, equipment & field set-up.

To the Sanborn Regional School district for allowing us to use their fields and facilities at no cost, we greatly appreciate their generosity.

Also, thanks to coaches, assistant coaches, and parent volunteers in the refreshment stand. You're participation is vital to the organization and to the FUN that the kids have playing soccer in our league. We value your feedback so if you have any suggestions on how we can improve the program, please email president, Michael Gannon, megannon@comcast.net

HAVE A GREAT WINTER - SEE YOU IN THE SPRING!

Spring Registration Forms will soon be available to download from this website.

INDOOR SOCCER

Visit this website for announcement of our winter soccer clinic, usually presented in February.

Also, if kids are interested in playing soccer indoors during the winter,  check out indoor facilities in Kingston, Granite Fields (Rt 125), www.granitefields.com

or Hampstead- PhanZone (Rt 111) http://ezleagues.ezfacility.com/default.aspx?facility_id=338).

These are not SYSA sponsored but kids can join a team or any parent/coach may form your own team to play at the facility.

NO ON-STREET PARKING along Chase Street
The Kingston Police have notified SYSA that they intend to begin enforcing the ordinance which prohibits on-street parking, during events held at Chase Field. Any vehicles which are not parked entirely off the street WILL BE TICKETED OR TOWED.
We strongly suggest that you consider parking at the Swasey Gym parking lot and walk through the scenic wooded path (old Sanborn High on Main St, across from Bakie School-park by basketball courts-look for path to fields. (See parking map below)

TRAVEL TEAMS

FALL - 2008

Thanks to all those who tried out for travel teams in June.

SYSA was able to create 3 travel teams this season: Girls U-11, and 2 Co-ed U-9 teams.

The program offers players a higher level of play and skill development than our recreational league.  Teams play in the NH Seacoast Youth Soccer League and travel to towns in the seacoast region.

Fall Games are played in September and mid-October, on Saturdays and Sundays.

Travel teams are coordinated by Dan Mahoney.

We wish all the teams good luck this season!
