Building the AVES House
This is Coach Willi's vision for our team. It is in the form of a simple graphic (attached) of a covered soccer team bench; like you see on the VISTA fields at Kinchloe. It represents various elements of the game that we are addressing, or building on over the long run. This simple cartoon portrays:
1) the simple joy that starts with green grass and blue sky;
2) the very foundations of our team;
3) the pillars of soccer;
4) surrounded by the framework of the game;
5) all grounded in the laws;
6) covered by the principals of play,
- Both Offensive,
- & Defensive;
7) played by unique team of closely bonded, hard working players;
8) while cognizant of a variety of other factors.
It is a long term project, building something big, something significant, something to be proud of -"the Aves House".
