Warrior Youth Wrestling is open to all Sudbury & Lincoln students in first through eighth grade. Practices are held twice weekly in the Lincoln-Sudbury High School Wrestling room. In addition to local scrimmages, wrestlers have the opportunity to compete in dual meets and regional tournaments from December through March.

If LSRHS is closed for any reason (weather, holiday, etc.), practice is cancelled. 

There will be a mandatory parent's meeting for all Grade 5-8 parents at 7:30 at LSRHS on Thursday December 4th.  Please make every effort to attend.  We will meet directly outside the wrestling room.

In addition to reviewing the rules, expectations and current schedule we will be announcing SYW's participation in the new MVC Dual Meet League.  This is a huge step forward in local youth wrestling and represents a fundamental change in our program moving forward.  We can not succeed without your assistance.

Registration for the 2008-09 season is still open. 

Practice will begin the week of December 1st.  Grade 5-8 wrestlers will practice Tuesday and Thursday nights 6:30-8:00 and Grade 1-4 wrestlers Monday and Wednesday nights 6:30-7:45.

First Annual Friends of Sudbury Wrestling
Reunion Dinner & Fundraiser

Please join the Friends of Sudbury Wrestling for our 1st Annual Fundraiser Dinner Friday Januaty 9, 2009 at Stow Acres Country Club for an exciting evening of fun and laughter.  The event will be open to the parents of current Sudbury Youth Wrestlers, current and former LSRHS wrestling parents and L-S Wrestling Alumni.

·         Dinner and drinks

·         Silent auctions & raffle items

·         Socialize with fellow parents, coaches and alumni wrestlers

·         Reunite with old friends

Please instruct you kids not to enter the wrestling room until instructed by either one of the youth coaches or high school coaches if the L-S High School team is still practicing.  Wrestlers, especially the younger ones, are not to be left unattended at L-S while waiting for the high school wrestlers to finish their pratice and vacate the room.  It is the responsibility of the parents - not the coaches - to monitor the behavior of the kids before they enter the wrestling room.

Inappropriate behavior while waiting for practice to begin will not be tolerated and may be grounds for removal from the team.
