Fall Ball Registration Open at Pacific Little League

Our friends over at Pacific are going to be hosting a Fall Ball Baseball League this year for kids who will be league age 10-12 during the 2009 season. They may even have a league for the younger kids if enough interest is shown. Please visit www.PacificLittleLeague.com for registration dates and locations or for additional information.

Pacific LL Fall Ball is just around the corner and registration is open. The season will run from Sept. 5 - Oct. 12. Each team will play two games per week, held mostly on Friday evenings and Sunday late afternoons. Cost is $50 - uniform shirts and hats provided. Eligible ages 10-12 based on player age on 4/30/2009. Registration is limited to eight teams of 14 players, coaching positions are available. Registration times as follows:

  • Thursday, August 21 - PLL field office 6:30 - 8:00PM
  • Saturday, August 23 - PLL field office 9:00 - 10:30AM
  • Monday, August 25 - PLL field office 6:30 - 8:00M
  • Wednesday, August 27 - PLL field office 6:30 - 8:00PM

Clarification on age groups: PLL strictly follows age groups based on Little League rules. Specifically, the players age ON April 30, 2009 dictates eligibility for play in Fall Ball - similar to spring ball. Current 12 year old players (who will be 13) are encouraged to play Juniors fall ball* in preparation for next year. Younger players may play Farm/9's*. The basic premise is player safety.

 Everyone is invited to Pacific Little League for Thursday Community Barbecue Night at the Ballpark, continuing the tradition started here the past 2 summers. Bring your favorite potluck dish and watch some great Little League Summer Baseball and enjoy a nice summer evening at the ballpark.
