SBLL Board meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm.  October's meeting will be held at Mussleman High School on 10/14/08.  Monthly meetings are open to the public.  There are open board positions - interested candidates need to submit a letter of intent to wendy-dean@comcast.net for consideration at the next meeting. 

MANAGERS FOR 2009 SEASON:

We are starting to prepare for next years season - prospective managers need to submit a volunteer application (found on the league documents link to the left) by 11/11/08 to Wendy Price to be considered for a team for 2009.  Participation in work days will be counted in the boards selection of managers and coaches.  We need everyones help to improve Appleland Park!

Work Days at the Field:

Every Saturday is Work Day!  We have many current projects that are on going.  We are in need of those with construction skills, manual labor skills and cleaning skills. 

Current Projects:

1. Constructing new steps on Jr League and Softball Press Boxes.

2. New infield mix on the Jr. League field.

3. Cleaning of all press boxes

4. Mowing of all fields

5. Weedeating fence lines
