USSA Potomac River Clash Results 

Congratulations to the Ashburn Shooting Stars Black for capturing the Tournament Championship in a 4 to 2 victory over the Shamrocks this past weekend at Claude Moore Park in Sterling, VA.  The team won 6 consecutive games, 4 of which were shut outs.   The Shooting Stars outscored their opponents 37 to 6.  The defense was tight, the bats were consistently effective and our pitchers/catchers were impressive .

Congratulations to Home Run hitters Alicia (2 run homer over the fence during game 2) and Sydney (home run over the fence during game 4)!  Way to spank the ball!!

The team is off this weekend, but resumes play at the USSA OktoberFAST in Westminster, MD the weekend of October 11th - 12th.
