We are Northern Nevada's largest and top ranked youth soccer club with 25 Competitive Youth Soccer Teams! 

Our club is dedicated to developing excellence in youth soccer in the Reno/Sparks area. 

Sagebrush U14 teams dominated the compitition! 

Once Again, Sagebrush Soccer Club Crowns a champion.  Congratulations SBSC United Red U14B Champions of the November Classic in Bakersfield, CA.  Their First Division 1 Tournament Championship!   The boys improved their ranking to #7 in the state!

Our U14 Girls SBSC Netrippers won the Northern California Premier League and continue their momentum after their State Cup run last spring!  The SBSC Netrippers are now ranked #6 in the state.  Great job Girls!

 SAGEBRUSH SOCCER CLUB TRY OUTS 

Sagebrush Soccer Club Teams are holding their fall 2008 COMPETITIVE soccer try-outs.  Sagebrush Soccer Club offers scholarship opportunities for its members, from competitive teams to college scholarships.  All of these opportunities are funded by our two local tournaments.  Sagebrush and its volunteers brought training from an Internationally licensed coach; this same coach will be assisting our members with additional training and mini camps throughout the winter and next spring.  As well as collegiate coaches and other upper level licensed coaches.  All of our coaches hold a “D” coaching license or higher. This past spring Sagebrush once again offered FREE goalie clinics to all it’s members.  We have very knowledgeable coaches and a mentoring style support system for new coaches.  We’re here to help you make your team a success!  NEW U10 BOYS SBSC - RED DEVILS 

EXTRA DAY OF TRYOUTS TUESDAY NOVEMBER 18TH AT COMSTOCK PARK AT 4:00PM 

SBSC Red Devils will be holding tryouts for a U-10 boys team. Tryouts will be at Damonte Ranch HS practice field at the South end of the school. Tryouts will be Sunday Nov. 9th at 3:00pm and Tuesday Nov. 11th at 4:00pm. Head coach will be Erik Wilson, currently Head Coach with Damonte Ranch High School Boys soccer and has a USSF National D license and NSCAA Regional Goalkeeping Diploma. U12 BOYS SBSC RENEGADES

U13 BOYS SBSC VIPERS

 This competitive boys team will have their spring tryouts for the U13 boys team will take place Sunday November 16, 1:00pm at Pine Middle School, and Tuesday, November 25, 6:00pm at Mira Loma Park   Practice will start in early December to prepare for multiple league play in Nevada and California. U16 BOYS SBSC ARSENAL

 U17 BOYS SBSC TSUNAMI 

Tsunami will be returning as a U17 Boys team.  We will hold tryouts Sunday, November 16^th, 2pm, at Mira Loma Park.  Look for the tent.  Tsunami won the U16B Rouge Valley Cup, and finished 3rd in Comstock Shootout.  Spring 09, we will have a trainer along with some guest trainer through out the season.  We will start Fitness training in December and tournaments in, Major’s Cup - Vegas, Sagebrush Start up, State Cup - Vegas, along with 2 other out of state tournament to be determined by the team.  Coaches Mario Bullentini and Richard Jay will run practices along with the trainers.  Additional information call Richard Jay at 232 7466 or richard.jay@wachoviasec.com

 U13G SBSC NORTH VALLEY UNITED

SBSC North Valley United is looking for approximately five experienced players to join our team in it's third season.  North Valley United will be participating in Great Basin Youth Soccer league play, and will also be attending tournaments in the spring.  Spring tournaments will include the Sagebrush Startup in Reno, the Comstock Shootout and Capital Classic in Carson City and the Washoe Zephyr in Reno.  Try-outs are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 11th at 5:30 p.m. & Sunday, November 16th at 1 pm at Panther Valley Park".   

U14G SBSC NEVADA NETRIPPERS

 The Netrippers will be holding tryouts this fall, looking for a few specific players to fill a few specific positions, Sunday, November 9 starting at 3pm at Mira Loma Park.  Again this spring, we will have a paid trainer/coach, Terran Haddock former collegiate player for UNR and its captain.  Additionally, we will play in Norcal league as well as GBYSL league, and travel to 3 or more out of state tournaments.  If you have a try out conflict with another team, please contact me to see what we can work out for you!  For more information contact Stacy Ojers at 775-843-9544 or via e-mail at slojers@sbcglobal.net      

U14G SBSC REGALO  

This dedicated, competitive U14 Girls team is looking to add several skilled players—born after 8-1-94 and before 7-31-95 (if born after 7-31-95, currently in 8^th grade)—who are committed to taking their game to the highest level possible.Coach Mike Simon, a former professional player at national and international levels with over 35 years of experience, is recognized for his acclaimed Mike Simon Soccer Camps and has coached for Sierra Nevada College .Tryouts are slated for Sunday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 16 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. on each day at Mary Gojak Park on Skyline Boulevard in Reno .For more information, please contact Johann Lau at 775-771-6800 or e-mail: johannlau@sbcglobal.net.

U15G SBSC SYNERGY

         Synergy, a U15G team is holding a tryout for the upcoming spring season that runs from March to June of 2009.  We are seeking a few enthusiastic, competitive girls, born between 8-1-1993 and 7-31-1995, who have a passion for soccer.  Our upcoming tryout will be: Sunday, Nov. 9^th, 1:30 – 3:30 PM @ Shadow Mountain Sports Complex.  (field along Shadow Lane)Coaches are Alyx Sacks and Jack McPartland.  Alyx currently plays for the UNR women’s soccer team. The coaches hold certifications including a USSF National “D” license, NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeping diplomas, and have coached for over 8 years.  We emphasize player development.  Regular professional training is planned.Synergy is a traveling team, and plans to participate in at least two out of state tournament in the Western US.  We also compete in most local tournaments within the Reno/Sparks and Carson City area, as well as the Great Basin Youth Soccer League (GBYSL) spring season league play.  Please note, our preseason training begins in early January.If you need more information about us, or our tryouts, feel free to contact  Jack McPartland at 775-224-2304, or e-mail at jmcpartland@mettest.com

 U17 GIRLS SBSC TITANS 

SPARKS TITANS, a highly competitive U-17 girls soccer team, is looking for a few players.  This team was established on January 2002.  We have competed in several local and out of town tournaments and had placed first and second.  This coming season, the team will be going to several Class A tournaments and college showcases.  If you are willing to work hard and have fun at the same time, we are inviting you to our tryouts on Sunday, November 9^th and Sunday Nov. 16^th at Terrace Park (take Robb Dr exit off of I 80 West, turn right.  Go straight until you see Terrace Park on your left-past McQueen High School.)  Tryouts begin at 3pm both Sundays.  For more information contact Jimmy Huynh at 775-338-4277 or Maria Huynh at 775-338-4697.  

U18G RENO BLACK ‘91

 Will be having tryouts for those serious players who are looking to be recruited by colleges. We will be playing in 3 or 4 College Showcase tournaments and one or two local tournaments.This team is truly the who’s who of Northern Nevada Soccer. We have two of our players currently playing at UNR. One of our players is going on a full ride scholarship to play in New York. We have had 3 players who have been offered scholarships at several different universities with quite a few more players currently being recruited by universities all over the country. Our seven years’ accomplishments are too numerous to list here but last year we had a great season when we played some of the top teams in the country with great results. We made it to Regionals in Hawaii where we had a great showing. We have a great reputation throughout the west region as being a strongly competitive team with high-level players. Sagebrush Soccer Club and Great Basin Youth Soccer League encourages all young athletes attending competitive soccer tryouts to actively participate in different soccer club or team tryouts so they may fully understand the training program or benefits that individual teams or soccer clubs may offer to you.  Participating in any of the soccer clubs or independent team tryouts does not register you to play, nor binds you to that particular soccer club or team.    If a player is currently registered upon a GBYSL fall 2008 season team (U15 or below), the player must obtain a “player release form” and have it in his or her possession at any spring team tryout he attends.  A Player Release form is the Player Action Form posted to the GBYSL website under “FORMS”, then click on “LEAGUE FORMS”.
