Welcome to the Riverside County Cross Country Website!  This website is intended to promote and highlight the efforts of the athletes and coaches that participate in Cross Country at the high school level here in Riverside County.  We want this website to be the effort of many, not one.  Please feel free to send us pictures, articles and results.

Updates to Come

It's official - junior Sierra Vega, after setting a new Riverside County record for the Mt. SAC course, is transferring from Chaparral High to Foothill High in Orange County.  We have been hearing of this for over a month now, but wanted to let dyestatcal.com reveal it as we would have being accused of "spreading rumors."

We've removed our all-county preseason squads as we're reevaluating some of the selections....

ML King's Carrie Soholt simply shattered a school record at their Mammoth camp while Great Oak's Anna Johnson has emerged as her squad's #1 runner here in August.  So, be patient as we tweak the squads a little....

Below, we've produced the beginning of our league projections on the boys' and girls' sides for the Southwestern, Big VIII, Inland Valley and Sunbelt Leagues.

2008 Preseason Boys' All-County Squads
Tough call in several situations here as we had so many boys put in impressive Track & Field seasons.  With that in mind, we actually added a "Ones to Watch" category (those that can easily end up in our Top 20 by seasons' end) and eight members on the 3rd-team squad....we'll summarize and break down each 1st and 2nd team individual when we find time (out of town this weekend).   Girls coming soon - we're still awaiting some additional feedback on a possible transfer....
