Welcome To A New Riley Wildcat Hockey Season!

The Riley Wildcats will face off the 2007/2008 season with several new player and a new coaching staff. 

Riley Wildcat's new coaching staff will be Pat Nowak as head coach, Ryan Geist and Brad Hecht as assistant coaches, and Dan Drotar as goalie coach.

The Wilcats would also like to welcome nine new players to the team this year.  The new players are:  Kenny Buda, Kyle Cartwright, Karen Celmer, Alex Gaskill, Josh Khan, Reuven Lerman, Ryan Pilmore, Austin Wappes, and Adam Williams.

Good luck to all the new coaches and players and welcome to the Riley Wildcats Hockey Team.  Let's have a great season Wildcats!

Riley Wildcats Have A Great Start To The 2007-2008 Season With A Win Over The Clay Colonials

Riley Wildcats start out the season on a high note.  They beat the Clay Colonials 9 - 1.  The freshman came out strong and proved they deserved to be a Wildcat.  The sophmores, both old and new players, made a goal and several assist for the Wildcats.  The juniors proved they are back, ready and willing to give what it takes to the Wildcats.  The senior with Brad Messersmith and Chris Tobolski as Captains and Ryan Drotar in net as an Assistant, they are the leaders and showed us they deserved it!  Way to go Wildcats!  Keep it up and play smart, your fans are behind you all the way!

Sunday, February 19
Riley Wildcats - 2006 MHSHL Champions
The Riley Wildcats finished the regular season in first place with an 18-0-0 conference record. The team capped off that outstanding season with a 5-1 win over the Marian Knights to claim the title of 2006 MHSHL Eastern Division Champions.

Cats Win Thanksgiving Classic For The Second Year In A Row!
The Riley Wildcats traveled to Holland, Michigan over the Thanksgiving weekend to participate in the Great Lakes Invitational Tournament. Justin Lincoln scored a shutout in Sunday's championship game, and for the second year in a row, the Riley Wildcats came home with the Midget Major/HS Championship.   - pictures coming soon -
