    At the beginning of the FAll 2008 season the Team is ranked 2nd in State of Virginia, 17th in the Region, and 61th in the Country, while the club is ranked the 2008 top soccer club in the State of Virginia by the Potomac Soccer Wire (see and click on 'Handout' below). 

After having sat out the the Spring 2008 season, MPS 90 returned to the National Capital Soccer League for the Fall 2008 season. Besides competing in division 1 the team will also strive to win State Cup.   

Tournaments 

MPS 90 will apply to compete in the following tournament(s): 

• Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament, Gaithersburg, MD  November 22-23, 2008 
• Baltimore College Showcase, Columbia, MD , November 28-30, 2008.
• PA Classic College Showcase, Manheim, PA  December 6-7
• Dallas College Showcase, Dallas, TX December 11-14, 2008. 

 Most Valuable Player Award 

Carrying on with team tradion, the MVP of each tournament will receive a trophy and a cash or cash equivalent award donated by team sponsors.
