Caitlyn Vann now at University of Missouri
Caitlyn was a member of the 2002 team which played in Amarillo, Texas, and is now enrolled at University ofr Missouri where she is playing volleyball.starting in 27 of 30 matchs in her Freshman year. She is one of the mainstays for the Tigers this year. Caitlyh led Muncie Burris in basketball her Senior year and holds records in steals and points in a game (38).

Deja Mattox makes Indiana All Star team
In the second game against the Indiana Jr. All Stars, Deja got a starting job as the Sr team won a 89-77 game at Marion. Deja again scored 12 points in helping the Sr team to victory.
Next up will be Kentucky All Stars for the Indiana girls.

Deja was third leading scorer for the Senior All Stars with 12 points in a 86-80 loss to the Indiana Jr. All Star team last night.

When Coach Merchant left Eastern Michigan, Deja reconsidered and has decided to attend Indiana State in the fall of 2008.
Deja has also been named to the Indiana High School All Star Team and will compete against Kentucy in the Indiana/ Kentucky series.
Great job Deja and good luck in All Star game and at Indiana State.
Deja was also honored by making IBCA Senior All State selection, as well as being honored by making Maxprep All State.

Troutman Headed to Illinois Central

Jessica Troutman will take her basketball skills to Ilinois Central on a full scholarship to play basketball. Jess was a three year player for Queens of the Court program, and two years at Anderson High. THe Indians won 2 sectionals, one regional, one North Central Conference and one Madison County Tourney. During her 2 years Anderson record was 39-13.

Keshia to Alabama Jr College 

Lakeshia Noethtich is attending Enterprise-Ozark Community College in Enterprise Alabama, where she will be playing for Wesley Person, who is assistant coach. Wesley is the brother of Chuck Person wwho played for the Pacers. Keshia was an original Queens of the Court team which made several trips to AAU Nationals.

Nellie to Taylor 

Nellie Eskew Is going to Taylor University and will be playing for the Taylor Trojans this year. Nellie was also an original member of the Queens of the Court team which made yearly trips to AAU Nationals.

Raven to Vincennes Jr College 

Raven Ivey has signed to play for Vincennes University where she plans to play bsketball and continue her education.  Raven was leading Madison County scorer with a 20.6 points per game average along with 7.2 rebounds per game.

Sim Back At Anderson
Sim is returning to Anderson High to be Varsity Assistant to Randy Harrison. He will be getting involved right away with open gyms.

Tuesday, July 15
Queens 12U at AAU Division 2 Nationals

Queens got some valuable experience playing some of the top programs in the country. The record was 0-5, playing mostly teams with girls who were already in high school or going into 9th grade.
Even though the girls were behind in all these games, they never gave up and fought hard against the older girls..

Girls Making the trip to Kingsport were; Taylor Potts, Savannah Jones, Sharice Jones, Kelsey Saunders, Jackie Jones, Shaley Passmore, Chrisfina Hill, Da Da Rayford.

Shaley Passmore and Kelsey Saunders are Freshmen at Highland, Chrisfina Hill is a Freshman at Anderson, while Jackie Jones will be an 8th Grader at East Side. Taylor Potts, Savanah Jones, Sharice Jones, and Da Da Rayford will be at North Side as 8th Graders.
