PTJFA has the following objectives: promotion of clean, wholesome competition and association with a high standard of athletics; address the physical, social and emotional developmental needs of children; encourage their participation in sports as a means to develop a healthy lifestyle, learning sportsmanship and having fun; provide youth the opportunity to learn and master the fundamentals of the game; and continue a positive relationship with the Peters Township High School staff in order to provide a total community football program. This program is sponsored by the Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department.

Sportsmanship Reminder
Well the time is here to play football and have fun! Games are starting up and practices are in full swing. With all that, the PTJFA just wanted to remind all coaches, parents and players to follow all the rules of good sportsmanship not only during the games but also during practices. Here are just a few good tips:
1. No foul language or rude gestures
2. Be respectful to the opposing team and to others
3. No talking back to referees
4. Represent our township with pride and dignity
Also, if you have any issues or concerns during the season please follow this simple process:
1. Raise the issue with you head coach and work with them for resolution
2. If it cannot be resolved by the head coach then contact the Sportsmanship Committee. They will help seek resolution and/or raise it to the PTJFA board if needed. The 'Handout' section has more information on the Sportsmanship Committee.

| Monthly Meeting |
The PTJFA generally meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the Peters Township VFW on Valleybrook Road. The meetings are open to all player parents. Please check the calendar for the next meeting. Player parents are encouraged to attend. On the agenda: Numerous topics of interest. It takes the support of many people to make our organization work. If you want a voice, you have to participate. Be more than a fan, become an active member. Be a part of the team!
