2008 PCLB 18U & 15U FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE
The high school fall league is perhaps the most anticipated league around Portland these days. Teams from the greater Portland and Vancouver area, ages 15/18 year old, vie for the fall league championship. The fall is the best time of the year in Portland, which makes it ever more enjoyable.
The 2007 tournament championship was claimed by Advanced Metal of Gresham.
2008 PCLB ADULT FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE
PCLB Adult Fall Baseball League, league play starts September 2, and finishes with the league championship tournament early October.

2008 PCLB AMERICAN & NATIONAL ADULT WOOD BAT SUMMER LEAGUES
2008 PCLB American (18 & Over) & National (28 & Over) Adult Wood Bat Summer Leagues
Teams will all play 24 league games, including umpires, baseballs, field use fees, general field liability insurance and operational admisitrative fees.
All PCLB American (18 & Over) & National (28 & Over) Adult Wood Bat Summer League teams are included in the 13th annual 2008 PCLB American (18 & Over) and National (28 & Over) Adult Wood Bat Summer League Championship Tournaments, single elimination.
The winner of the Amercian League Championship Tournament (18 & Over) advances to play in the fifth annual PCLB Adult Wood Bat Summer League Championship Series. The American Adult League Champions (18 & Over) versus the National Adult League Champions (28 & Over) in a best two out of three games FOR THE PCLB ADULT SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP.
2008 CBW COLLEGIATE WOOD BAT SUMMER TEAMS
2008 Update, PCLB's college wood bat summer league named Collegiate Baseball of the West and are now members of the NW Collegiate League.

CBW will continue in the direction of a Collegiate Wood Bat Summer League with limited eligibility for non-college teams and players.
2008 PCLB UMPIRES ASSOCIATION
The PCLB Umpires Association, located in
Portland, Oregon, needs experienced,
dependable umpires that enjoy and understand the game. PCLBUA recognizes umpires as independent contractors and works with each umpire to maximize their individual schedules.
The PCLBUA umpires league, playoff, and tournament games in all four divisions of the PCLB. PCLB Adult Wood Bat Summer Leagues - 18 & Over and 28 & Over mid-April thru mid-August, Collegiate Wood Bat Summer League June thru early August and High School Fall League mid-August thru mid-October.
Umpires are required to have their own gear, uniform and transportation. Training provided by the PCLBUA. Portland City League Baseball, established in 1987, is well organized and played with wood bats.
2008 fee schedule, there will be no assigning fees deducted from your 2008 pay.
All 2008 umpires will need to submit a completed 1099 form for the tax year 2008. (PCLB will mail to you) prior to receiving assignments.
7 inning game = $37.50 per man
9 inning game = $47.50 per man
*Games at Broadway Park in Seaside have different rates and mileage attached.

2008 PCLBUA scheduling payment schedule will be divided into eight segments listed below.
1) April 30 thru May 9
2) May 13 thru June 2
3) June 3 thru June 23
4) June 24 thru July 14
5) July 15 thru August 4
6) August 5 thru August 27
7) September 2 thru September 21
8) September 22 thru October 12
Paychecks will be mailed within seven business days after the end of each schedule/payment segment.
