Welcome to Old Scottsdale Youth Baseball's Website.
Continuing 51 years of EXCELLENCE in Old Scottsdale by providing a great, secure and safe location for your kids to play a great game... BASEBALL!
Thank you stopping by and visiting our Website! We gearing up for our 2009 Spring Baseball Season. We are opening up On Line Registration NOW so you can register early and make sure your on a team! Don't miss your chance to register and get on a team. We want to keep team sizes small for our coaches so once the specified number of teams fill up in each division, a waiting list will be created... Don't miss out! REGISTER EARLY!
SPRING 09 REGISTRATION DATES:
- Saturday, January 17th, 2009 at the Snach-Stand from 9-12 (Noon)
- Saturday, January 24th, 2009 at the Snack-Stand from 9-12 (Noon)
- Wednesday, January 28th, 2009 at the Snack-Stand from 6-8 PM
- Saturday, January 31st, 2009 at the Snack-Stand from 9-12 (Noon)
TRY-OUT DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Friday, February 6th, 2009 7 PM
- Saturday, February 7th, 2009 9 AM
Spring 2009 Baseball Registration are underway. Costs are as follows:
$120.00 for ALL Players.

OSYB is a Recreational League. Of course there is competition when on the field, but having fun and learning how to play a great game is our primary focus.
With that said, OSYB continues to have GREAT success with our Mustang Division, Competitive / Recreation Divisions.
The MUSTANG COMPETITIVE DIVISION is for 9-10 year old players only. Those players wishing to play in this division need to realize this is a COMPETITIVE Division and some games might be played on other fields besides OSYB's home fields. Traveling to other fields should be expected!
The MUSTANG RECREATIONAL DIVISION is for players between the ages of 8-10 years old. This Division is for those kids who want to play ALL games at OSYB Fields. Competition is inevitable but not stressed in this division.
Again, if you have not already signed up, DON'T WAIT! CALL NOW so that we can get youon a team. Practices are starting now! This is shaping up to be a GREAT SEASON!

OUR OBJECTIVES
To support the establishment and development of a scholarship program for PONY Baseball graduates
To produce a database and maintain contact with PONY Alumni including former players, coaches, umpires, league officials, volunteers, Field Directors, parents, and anyone who has participated in the PONY program in some manner.
To identify PONY Alumni who contribute time and resources to benefit PONY Baseball and to recognize them with appropriate publicity and awards.
To assist PONY Baseball in following player careers after graduation from the program regarding noteworthy achievements in society or professions and recognize them.
To coordinate and assist PONY Baseball Zones in organizing and conducting reunions and other activities by establishing alumni chapters in the various Zones.
To assist PONY Baseball in the collection and display of PONY memorabilia and historical items.
To provide an additional structure to assist PONY Baseball International Headquarters as requested.
To act in harmony with the PONY Baseball Board of Directors with whom the ultimate control of the Alumni Association is vested.
To contribute information articles to PONY publications and other media to support and promote PONY Baseball.
