Wednesday, August 20Girls Take Top Honors at Starfire Xtreme Cup!
Without conceding a single goal, the G97 Blue team handily won the 2008 Starfire Xtreme U11 title over the August 16th weekend. The girls took top honors by shutting out a feisty Westsound FC squad in the finals 1-0. Altogether, the girls outscored their opponents 22-0, conceding not a single goal throughout the tournament!

GU11 Blue Semifinalists in Snohomish Invitational Tournament
Over the May 2nd weekend, the GU11 Blue squad made it through to the semifinals of the Snohomish United Invitional soccer tournment. Its only loss of the tournamant came in the semifinalist at the hands of the eventual champion by a single goal in a sudden death shootout! Throughout the tournament, the girls outscored their opponents 19-6. It was a fine first tournament as a squad. Well done!
