Monday, October 29 NORTHVIEW VARSITY ENDS A FANTASTIC SEASON AFTER 5 LONG YEARS, THE NORTHVIEW VARSITY SOCCER TEAM NOT ONLY WON DISTRICT FINALS BUT THEY MADE IT TO REGIONAL FINALS! THIS TEAM HAS GONE FURTHER THAN ANY OTHER SOCCER TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF NORTHVIEW. They ended the season with 18 wins and 9 losses. Coach Frank was quoted in the Grand Rapids Press on Monday Oct 29 saying, "We went to five straight district finals, and finally won this year. I'm getting exactly what I want when I started. We are consistentely improving as a program and now it's rolling. I'm very happy with the year." We are all very proud of the entire team and it was a joy to watch you grow and play this year. Thanks for an excellent season from all of us fans!

Monday, October 29 PASS TRYOUTS ON NOVEMBER 1ST! PASS High School boys tryout for select U15-U18 and Premier U16-U18 is Thursday, Nov. 1, at Woodland Sports at 6:30pm. Please see the Handouts section to download the try-out form. Monday, October 22 Wanted: Pics from the Freshman, JV and Varsity Teams If anyone has pics of the Freshman, JV or Varsity team, I would like to add them to the DVD that I am making of the teams. If possible, I would like copies by this Saturday. I can take them on a CD or from the memory card from the camera. If you have pictures, please contact me at 361-8368 or 719-8584.

The recipient of the 2006 DJ Patterson Memorial Good Samaritan Award was Josh Beimers. Thursday, August 16 CAN DRIVE! WE ARE COLLECTING POP CANS AND BOTTLES TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE VARSITY, JV AND FRESHMAN PROGRAMS.
Please contact anyone on the teams or Steve or Liz Spieker (361-8368) if you would like us to stop by and help "unload" any or your cans or bottles. We can have someone stop by and pick them up for you. So far this year we have raised over $900!!!
Bottle receipts or money collected should be given to our Treasurer, Liz Spieker.
