Directions to Madden Field, Home of the Rahway Chiefs
(Capobianco Plaza & Elston Street just off
1&9 South)
From East Orange, Patterson, Passaic and Union
Take the Parkway South to the Clark/Westfield Exit 135 bear left of the ramp
and go around the circle under the overpass and bear to your right. At the 1st
light make a left on to Westfield Ave. and follow this road to the 3rd light
which is St. Georges Ave. and make a right. Take St. Georges down to 3rd light
and make a left onto East Hazelwood Ave. Take this all the way down under the
train tracks and once you past the 4th light (Main St. - you will see Brake
Shop on your right) make a right onto Leesville Ave. then make the first left
turn onto Capobianco Plaza and the field is to your right.
From Linden and Roselle
Take St. George Ave. South into Rahway and at East Hazelwood Ave. make a left.
Take this all the way down under the train tracks and once you past the 4th
light (Main St. - you will see Brake Shop on your right) make a right onto
Leesville Ave. then make the first left turn onto Capobianco Plaza and the
field is to your right.
From Elizabeth
Take Route 1 South into Rahway and once you past East Milton Ave. (Burger King)
start to bear right and take the East Hazelwood/Lawrence street exit (car
dealership on right). At the stop sign make a left and go over Route 1 under
the overpass to the first light and make a right onto East Hazelwood Ave. Go
under the overpass and make a right at the next block which is Leesville Ave.
(you will past Agape Church) then make the first left turn onto Capobianco
Plaza and the field is to your right.
From Plainfield
Take Park Ave. East toward Edison and make a left on to Old Raritan Road
(through the golf course) Then make a right onto Inman Ave. and take it all the
way down through Edison, Colonia into Rahway. Once you get to St. Georges Ave
you continue down under the overpass ride over the little green bridge and make
a left at the next intersection which is Leesville Ave. Follow Leesville Ave.
to Capobianco Plaza and make a right the field will be on your right.
From NJ Turnpike
Take Exit 12 Carteret/Rahway after the toll bear to extreme right and take
Roosevelt Ave. over the overpass through Carteret into Rahway until you
can-�t go anymore and make a right at the light on Lawrence Street
(Rahway Prison on your left and Quick Chek on right). At first light which is
East Hazelwood Ave. make a left (Dairy Queen on right) Go under the overpass
and make a right at the next block which is Leesville Ave. (you will past Agape
Church) then make the first left turn onto Capobianco Plaza and the field is to
your right.
