It was a great end to a great season for Nebraska Elite Volleyball Club at the USA Junior Nationals in Dallas, Texas.

As for team finishes:

In the Open Division, Kryptonite finished 18th in the 15's division, RAW-Legacy finished 19th in the 18's division and R.I.P.Tide finished 23rd in the 16's division.

In the National Division, 17 Asics finished 5th in the 17's division, Havoc finished 10th in the 14's division, and Kommotion finished 23rd in the 16's division which also was the highest finish of any second team from a club in the Open or National division.

Finally, in the American Division, both Eclipse and Thunder finished 13th in the 12's and 13's division respectfully.

The club added another National Championship All-Tournament Team member in Chelsey Feekin of Elite 17 Asics.  Congrats Chelsey, on a great tournament and making the team for the second time in 3 years.

Nebraska Elite continued its run of being the top club in the region by leading in total teams, 8, and total in the Open Division, 3, for the 2008 USA Junior National Championships in Dallas.  Nebraska Elite was also the only club in Nebraska to qualify 2 teams in an age group, the 16's with R.I.P.Tide getting into Open and Kommotion beating everyone else in the region to take the National Bid.

Additionally, we had 2 teams finish 1 spot out of qualifying.

Nebraska Elite RAW-Legacy continued the Legacy by qualifying in 18 Open at the Southern California National Qualifier.  The team has qualified for Open 4 straight years, a new region record.

It's summer time! The off-season and post-season is one of the most crucial times of year to get in better shape. It's a new month! The PT Camps will build a stronger foundation and enhance performance and decrease the risk of injury. There are still spots open for all sessions. 12's, 13's, & 14's Physical Training Camps will continue during June. These camps will be help weekly on Tuesday and Fridays from 5-6 PM and on selected Saturdays from 12-1 PM. They will cost $15 per player per session, or you may buy a month pass for $75 and attend any and all sessions during the month. For more information click the headline above.

Due to demand, Nebraska Elite Volleyball is excited to announce that we will be offering a second session of the Youth Development Program.  The second session of the Youth Development Program will begin in March and run through May.  The Youth Development Program is a lighter version of club volleyball for Grades 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, & 7th.  The program has been put together by Amy Feekin Hamilton, the only club coach in Nebraska to win a USA Volleyball National Qualifier in the 12's & 13's age divisions.  Amy's success in developing players in these age groups has helped Nebraska Elite Volleyball move into a position of dominance in the Great Plains Region.

Players will be trained by Nebraska Elite coaches in a camp style setting twice a week for 12 weeks, and have controlled scrimmages on those nights throughout the program.  The focus of the program will be on skill development, volleyball rules, and officiating, not scoring points and winning.  Individual  skill development will be tracked on a nightly basis.  Players and parents will also participate in Volleyball 101, an introductory class about volleyball to be conducted during the program.

Each player will receive a pair of spandex, 2 t-shirt jerseys, whistle and a program book.  The program will end with an awards celebration at The Volleyball Center. 

No tryouts, great results!
