Nolan Catholic High School, located in Fort Worth, Texas, is owned by the Diocese of Fort Worth and is administered by the Society of Mary. The Vikings compete in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) Division I conference.

Nolan Catholic's hope for a repeat title ended in the 2-1 state semi-finals loss against eventual state champions San Antonio Central Catholic. The Vikings fought furiously in the final forty-four minutes playing a man down and missed a last gasp chance at an equalizer in the first minute of stoppage time.

2006 Viking Cup: The runners-up Silver Cup was awarded to the boys in blue as they finished behind three time cup winner New Orleans (LA) Jesuit and currently ranked #2 on the Adidas/NSCAA National Poll. Houston St. Thomas Catholic, Lake Charles (LA) St. Louis Catholic, and Dallas Bishop Lynch complete the rest of the tournament table.
2006 District Cup: The Vikings capped their first undefeated district run (7-0-1) since the 1999-2000 season.
