Travel Teams
|
|
Travel teams form each year to give girls the opportunity to play against teams from other cities and states. MSS sanctioned teams are not run by the board of directors and the players for each team are not chosen by the board. People get together and decide to organize a team of girls and parents willing to travel through the summer to play ball. Often times teams hold tryouts to choose players, and some girls are not asked to join the team. Each team controls playing time, cost, schedule, etc. There are many organizations and tournaments available in all age groups starting at 8 AND UNDER. To play in the 2007 season as a "14U" your daughter must be 14 or younger on January 1, 2007.
