Welcome team to the Markham Lightning Soccer year. I've gone ahead and created this site to use for posting our team schedules, pictures, game scores and other events. I hope you find this useful instead of keeping numerous emails.

WOODBRIDGE TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

The schedule for Woodbridge has now been posted along with links to the field location.  Please note it is NOT the same field as last year so be sure to check the map before heading out so as not to be lost. 

 Arrive an hour before game time to give the team time to prepare.



Wednesday, May 14
Practice and Game Days- CHANGED

Team, we have been advised our practices will be Wed at Central Park (south of 16th and west of McCowan) and Friday at Markville. Times TBA. Website will be updated as we acquire more information.

Games will be on Monday's at Centennial Park in Markham.

Tournament Vote

The votes are in! The tournaments this year in date order are:

May 17 -19 = Woodbridge (2nd Place)
May 24- 25 = Ottawa (1st Place)- Confirmed
June 20 - 21 = Darlington (3rd Place)
July 11 to 13 = Rochester (4th place)
The calendar will be updated with these dates.

Sponsors Needed

Team, please advise us if you think you are getting a sponsor by April 15, 2008. Otherwise, we will only logo our uniforms with the one sponsor.

 A reminder, we need to raise about $300 to complete the budget or else we will all need to contribute more.

All sponsor details have been added to the MY SITE NEWS tab. You can download the documents from there and print. Thanks very much for your support.

For all games and tournaments it is necessary to bring both game uniforms all the time. Please show up 1/2 hour prior to game times.
