Welcome to the Maryland Sting's Official Web site. We are a Non-Profit Minor League Football Organization based in Harford and Baltimore County Maryland. We intend to be a positive force in the community that provides talented young men with the opportunity to play competitive football after high school and college.
We are a proud member of the Colonial Football Alliance (CFA) and defending Southern Conference Champs. Posting a 9-3 record in 2007 which was our 1st year. We hope that everyone will come out & enjoy the games while watching some very talented young men play the game they love and for some maybe a shot at going to the next level. We play by NFL rules, without the NFL cost. Come experience pro-caliber, hard hitting, live action football the whole family can enjoy. GO STING!!!

Sting win 1st CFA Jamboree team skills challenge !!!!
On July 12th the CFA held their 1st annual Skills challenge Jamboree. The events ranged from kicking to passing as well as a bench press challenge and a 100 and 40 yard dashes. After it was all said and done. The Maryland Sting came out on top of the overall team challenge. Congratz guys. Below are how our guys faired in each event. Each team had 2 players in every event totaling an average of 30 guys per event.
Passing: Steve Balcer 2nd
Kicking: Chris Roberts 3rd
!00 yard Dash: Drew Luby 2nd
Bench Press: Don Haggerty 2nd
Team tug-a-war: MD Sting 2nd

MD Sting loves Fortunato Brothers Pizza !!
The Sting would like to thank the fine folks at Fortunato Brothers Pizza in Edgewood for their generous support and great food. Next time ya go ask for a Carl King Calzone or a Coach Bryan meat lovers pizza. They also serve great fries, wash that down with a few Heinekenhs and they call that a Coach Corey value meal #2.

MD Sting 2nd Annual Jackpot 50/50 Raffle !!
Last year the JACKPOT paid out at over $4200. How big will it be this year? Each Ticket is a $5 donation. The winning ticket will be drawn on Sept 20th at halftime at our last regular season home game. Your Sting players will be selling the tickets or you can call Coach Bryan for more info...410-790-2167

Sting prepare for the CFA skills challenge Jamboree.
On Saturday July 12th the CFA will be holding it newly formed skills challenge Jamboree.
Representing the Sting in the following events are:
100yd Dash: Travis Chance and Mark McKenzie
40yd Dash: Travis Chance and Andrew Luby Jr.
Bench Press: Don Haggerty, TD Callahan and Adam Rabuck
Passing events: Jamal Frazier and Steve Balcer
Kicking: Chris Roberts
Punting: Chris Roberts
Broad Jump: Andrew Luby Jr. and TD Callahan
Tug-a-war: All the Big Uglies
Iron man fight night: Divine Wilson
This event will be held on July 12th in Conshohocken PA. Please come cheer on your Sting players as they try to capture the 1st ever CFA skills Team title.
