Saturday, October 11Magic to Hold Clinic for 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Girls
Marquette Magic will be holding a girls basketball clinic for 4th, 5th and 6th grade girls. The six week clinic will be held on Monday nights, beginning October 13, 2008 running until November 17, 2008. The clinic will meet each Monday from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at NMU's PEIF practice gyms. The clinic will include instruction in the fundamentals of basketball. The cost for the program, which includes a t-shirt, is $35.00. Registrations will be accepted from 5:15 - 5:45 on Monday October 13, 2008 at NMU's PEIF practice gym. Magic Selects Fall Teams

The Magic has selected the following two teams for the Fall 2008 season. The first team will be coached by Diane and Tim Lindberg and Rob Schmeling. This 15U team will consist of Jocelyn Clickner, Adalyn Etlamaki, Christine Gutierrez, Katie Helmer, Allyssa Lindberg, Courtney Waara, Rachel Welton and Cassendra Zampese.
The second team will be coached by Lisa Coombs-Gerou and Mike Pruett. This 17U team will consist of Tabatha Boyak, Lindsey Coleman, Danielle DeShambo, Courtney Holsworth, Brittany Maki, Kendra Maki, Mallory Pruett, and Alicia Tollefson.
The first practice for both teams will be held on Monday, September 8, 2008 at Northern Michigan University, PEIF, Practice Gyms from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
More information on practice schedules, tournaments and room reservations will be given out at the first practice.
