North Central Mass Baseball Umpires Association (NCMBUA) Certification classes for umpires
The CLINIC for new umpire candidates will start on THURSDAY, February 28. Classes will run every TUESDAY and THURSDAY, ending with an EXAM on TUESDAY, April 1.
The cost of the clinic is $75 (which includes rule book, handouts, and first-year dues to the NCMBUA). The cost is payable at the first class. Candidates are expected to attend all classes, but limited absences are allowed. A passing grade on the exam is required for certification. No refund if passing grade is not received.
All classes will be at MWCC, probably starting at 7:00pm. Each class is up to 2 hours long, depending on what is being covered. Classroom location is TBA.
