Lake Zurich Lacrosse Camp (boys AND girls grades 3-9): 7/7 - 7/11
Please go here to access a PDF of the flyer for this camp.
Lacrosse, the "fastest sport on two feet" combines the best of basketball, hockey and soccer. Lacrosse America staff and special guests will instruct boys and girls in stick handling, dodging, shooting and defense. Boys' and girls' lacrosse have different rules, so this is two separate camps with different sets of instructors. The emphasis for both camps will be on individual skill developmen, learning the rules, sportsmanship and fun contests and scrimmages. Both beginners and experienced players will learn from individual instruction, game situation drills and scrimmages. Boys and girls will be grouped by age and ability. The camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 3-9 in September. FREE loaner equipment is available. This is the perfect way to learn one of the area's hottest sports. (1 week)
Players should bring their own water bottles and mouth guard. All participants will get a camp shirt. For more information, call Volz at 847-438-5146.
FEE: $115 Resident/$125 Non-Resident

Summer High School Lacrosse Camp
Lake Zurich High School Lacrosse Players:
Get a jump on the 2009 lacrosse season at the Lake Zurich Summer Lacrosse Camps! The program is split into two divisions: a program for rising juniors and seniors and a program for rising sophomores and freshmen. The camps will be held at Lake Zurich High School generally on the stadium field.
The junior/senior division will play 7:30 to 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday for two weeks from June 16 through June 26. And the freshman/sophomore division will go from 5:30 to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday for two weeks from July 7 through July 18. Unlike other summer programs, there is no charge for the Lake Zurich Lacrosse Camps, so we expect all returning players to participate!
During these two-week programs, players will work with the Lake Zurich High School coaching staff to develop individual and team concepts. Not only is this a great chance to improve skills, but it is also a great opportunity to impress the coaches and establish a role within the program.
Also, the camp will feature individualized instruction, introduction to Lake Zurich team concepts, and nightly scrimmages. Campers will receive lessons in specialized positional play, including face-offs, dodging, and one-on-one defensive skills.
Accommodations can be made for players' vacation or work schedules. If you have a conflict, please contact Coach Cole at (847) 890-8289 or e-mail jcole@chicagomachine.com.
On behalf of the coaching staff,
Josh Cole
Head Varsity Coach
