Here’s how it works:
You have an epointz module located on your web site pages. Your epointz total and overall ranking will be updated once per day. Your site will qualify as a potential winner at the end of the month based on how many points you have accumulated.
Note: Team sites (sub-sites) within League sites will contribute epointz to the league of which they are associated.
There is one qualification pool for Team and League sites that is designated by the following point total:
epointz qualification Pool: 25,000+ epointz
At the end of each month, eteamz will batch and review all qualifying sites for the month. eteamz will select 6 winners at random from the qualification pool. In total, there will be 6 monthly winners - 3 League sites and 3 Team sites.
Prizes: Each of the six winners will receive $250 in cash!
Here’s how your site can earn epointz:
Note: PLUS sites receive double epointz for each item below.
1 epointz for every page viewed (30 page maximum per visit)
10 epointz for every time someone checks out your site
- 50 epointz for going to view the eteamz tips and drills (once per day).
- 50 epointz for getting a friend to check out your site by email.
- 250 epointz for every friend that becomes an eteamz member through your site.
- 1000 epointz for every person who signs up for a Sport Tips email through your site.
- 1000 epointz for each participant that registers online for your team, league, or another event your site has setup in the Admin Collect Fees
 folder.
- 10000 epointz for every friend you get to create their own eteamz PLUS site through yours.
Here's what you should know:
- Each epointz contest will begin on the first day of each month and end on the final day of that month.
- Your total epointz will show up on your eteamz homepage. Your ranking is updated on the counter each night, so you can keep track of how your site stacks up against the entire eteamz community.
- epointz will be tallied after the close of the month and each of the top teams and top leagues will be audited to affirm authenticity of epointz earned. Any sites which eteamz believes to have "cheated", including, but not limited to, referring inactive team sites, generating false members, or attempting to manipulate the allocation of epointz, will be disqualified from the contest and forfeit all epointz gained.
- Participation in the contest is limited to sport-related team and league web sites.
- Any winning site is ineligible to win two consecutive months.
