Tuesday, July 1 LIGHTNING SOCCER CLUB FINISHES 2007-2008 SEASON Congratulations Lightning on an exciting soccer season!! The U14 team finished 26-3-2 with234 goals scored and only 41 goals allowed. The U15 team finished 20-9-3 with 145 goals scored and 86 goals allowed. We watched our player base grow as did our coaching staff. Many of our players secured positions with either the J.V. or Varsity teams of their respective high schools, yet played a full year of Lightning Soccer. This demonstrates the level of athleticism, soccer skill and committment which is spread throughout our organization. This also demonstrates the level of involvement of our Lightning parents. Your coaches thank you all for your continued committment to our club which will enter its 7th year with the upcoming 2008-2009 season!!
2007 BEACH BLAST-WILDWOOD, NJ Monday, April 21 LIGHTNING U14 TAKES 1ST AT FREESTATE!! Congratulations Lightning U14 on another 1st place title. Although injuries were part of our fate this session, the Lightning players stepped up and did what needed to be done on the field to keep the team competitive. It was a great indoor session. Thanks to all involved in this session and for helping to secure the 1st Place Title!! Great job Lightning!!
