After last weekend's 19-12 victory over Sheffield Sabres at home (match report to follow), the Celtics now travel to Staffordshire on Sunday for the Northern Conference Semi Final game.

Leeds and Staffs have met in the playoffs several times in the recent past, each time the Stallions walking away with the spoils. A 13-0 win in the last game of the season against Sheffield Sabres away proved instrumental in coming top of the Division and securing homefield advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

The Celtics have not won their Division since the 04/05 season, and will look to take their regular season momentum into the playoffs. This season the defense has shut out all opposing offences, a new Celtics record, the only score against the Celtics coming on Special Teams with a blocked punt downed for a TD.

The real work begins here, and the first round of the playoffs versus #5 seed Divisional rivals Sheffield Sabres up at The Graveyard is guaranteed to be a hard hitting affair, the winner advancing to the Conference Semi Finals.
