LC Juniors Win District 6 Championship
L'anse Creuse Baseball wins another district 6 championship.  The Junior boys team completed a sweep of the Juniors tournament.  The team went undefeated in pool play, but ended up seeded 3rd to Harper Woods who were seeded 1st and Clintondale-Fraser who were seeded 2nd.  So, LC had to play the 6th seed team, Macomb and defeated them on Saturday, July 12th in a rain delayed game.  On Sunday, LC defeated Harper Woods 11-6 in the semi-finals.  Then on Monday, LC defeated Gross Pointe Park-Farms City 6-3 for the championship.  LC now plays in the sectionals against Taylor (District 5) at LCHS on Sunday, July 20 (double-header) and Monday, July 21 in a best of 3 series.  The winner advancing to the State finals which are held in Richmond this year as District 7 is the state host.  Congratulations boys and good luck in the next round.

ATTITUDES & EXCITEMENT
Please remember that the primary purpose of Little League Baseball is for the children to enjoy playing and to have fun. Get excited about the plays, and encourage every player to do his / her best and to enjoy the game. However, don't let your excitement and enthusiasm lead you into a disruptive attitude, and abuse of the umpires and players. So be excited and vocal, but not abusive and disruptive.
