Buffalo cut the Kountz lead to 6 points midway through the final period, but could not get the shots to fall when they needed them dropping a 54-47 decision. Kountz will advance to face Hughes Springs in the regional semifinal in Tyler. Hughes Springs defeated Woden 44-41 to earn their spot. Click on the story title to see the girls brackets.
