Umpires Needed
VOLUNTEER UMPIRES NEEDED
At this time, the La Center Little League is looking for volunteer umpires. The La Center Little League works hard to a provide positive environment to the youth of our community. We provide the best in fields, quality coaches, staff and equipment. We need to provide quality officials at games also.
As a part of the La Center Little League Volunteer Umpire staff, we will provide you with the necessary training in rules, mechanics, equipment and materials for quality officiating. Umpiring is a very rewarding experience. When the youth of the community thank you for being there, or beg you to be at their next game, it will make you proud to be a part of our Umpiring staff. The players, coaches and parents provide tremendous amounts of time and energy to the game and all they ask for is quality and fair officials.
At this time, the La Center Little League holds over 200 games on our fields during a season. We should provide at least 2 umpires for each game. We hope that you will consider joining our Umpiring staff.
We would like to several moms out there this year to help umpire the girls softball games. Training of field mechanics and on LL rules will be provided free of charge. Help make LL Softball a fun experience for the children of La Center, umpire!
