2008 Senior Trip

King Football took it's annual senior trip this year in early August and had a great time.  Twenty-eight seniors spent 2 days camping in the San Bernardino Mountains catching fish, playing games and becoming a tight senior unit.  The '08 Senior Trip was capped off by a day of competition, which included 4 games: horseshoes, pool, ladder ball, and bocce ball.  The winning team of Jimmy Brisco, Carlton Walker, Tyson Thurman and Brian Malone proved dominant as they enjoyed a BBQ tri-tip dinner as their teammates enjoyed burgers.  The foursome proved dominant against every team except one...the coaches, the only team to post a perfect 4-0 record (once again)!

2nd ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
King Football held its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament May 31st at Menifee Lakes Country Club and it was a huge success.  The weather was perfect and the course was in excellent shape as family and friends traded in their footballs and cleats for clubs and golf balls and had a great time at a wonderful event.  Thanks to all the participants, sponsors, and event coordinators who came out in support of King Football!!  A special thanks goes to Dawn Geiger and her family who spent countless hours preparing and running such a tremendous event.  Thanks also to Dawn Sweeney, Tom Neuhoff, Darlene Malone, April Maranville, Mary Avalos, Kathy Malone, Synthia Gunzel, Lani Creely, Susan Tietz, and Lisa Lorton for all the help they provided before the tournament and throughout the day making the golf tournament run smoothly.  Finally, a special thanks goes to the winners of the golf ball drop, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Goodshaw, and one of the three winners of the reverse raffle, Mr. Glen Newman, who donated the winnings back to the King Football Program.  Thanks to everyone who made this a truly special event.
