Power 15-1's Taylor Migliazzo has been selected as one of the top Defensive Players in the country by PrepVolleyball. The 2008 "Defensive Dandies" is a recognition sponsored by "Patella Digs" and honors those defensive players whose primary role is back row and who contribute considerablly to their teams. Migliazzo is the only 8th grader to be awarded amongst a few freshmen & sophomores and mostly Juniors and Seniors. Congratulations Taylor.... Way to DIG IT UP!!!

POWER 15-1 COACH DANIELLE STOWELL INDUCTED INTO RMAC HALL OF FAME
KC Power 15-1 coach and former University of Nebraska at Kearney All-American Danielle Shum-Stowell has been selected for induction into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Hall of Fame. She becomes the first athlete of any sport ever inducted into the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conferecne) Hall of Fame from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Congratulations to Danielle. What a wonderful and well deserved honor.

Thursday 11/8/2007 will be a very memorable day for our very own Kathleen Ludwig. On this day, Ms. Ludwig was named the winner of the 2007 Evelyn Gates Award. This is an award that is voted on by the Kansas City Metro area coaches and is awarded to the Best Volleyball Player in the KC Metro Area. Another Congratulations to our very own Kathleen Ludwig. The Kansas Volleyball Association Names Coach Gwenn Pike the 2007 Class 5A Coach of the Year. Congratulations Coach Pike!!!!
The Greater Kansas City Volleyball Coaches Association names Coach Gwenn Pike as the 2007 Coach of the Year. Congratulations Coach Pike!!
Coach Pike posted her 900th career victory in September and finished out the 2007 season with a Career Record of 932-184. Her Bishop Miege Stags won the EKL league and were State Runner Up.
Coach Pike's Kansas All Stars were victorious in defeating the Missouri All Stars 3-2 on 11/12/2007 at Avila College..... Congratulations Coach Pike and the Kansas All Stars.

Coach Pike's Bishop Miege Stags rolled on to victory over St. Teresa's on 9/8/07 in the MO/KAN volleyball tournament at Lee's Summit West High School to post Coach Pike's 900th career win.
