KC Jazz Softball club is comprised of a dedicated coaching staff with extreme mens fastpitch history that are continually looking for players that want to succeed at the highest level.  Tryouts are held the first week of August, please check the website for upcoming tryout locations and details.

  • Jazz defeat Diamond Devils 6-3 to take First Place in the First Annual ASA Recruiting Tournament.  The team won 2 bracket games--both in extra innings to advance to the championship game. 
  • Jazz take First Place at the Father's Day Classic.  Great pitching, good defense  and timely hitting was the equation for victory and  the reason the Jazz only gave up one run all weekend.   Great Job Ladies!!
  • Jazz attended the College World Series in OKC.    The team played in the Triple Crown tournament and got to watch several College World Series games.  One of the highlights of the trip was beating the 2007 12U World Champions, the Legendz from Texas.  Visit pics for photos of trip.

JAZZ Take 1st Place at ASA Recruiting Tourney
Recruit Champion
Jazz defeat Diamond Devils 6-3 to take First Place in the First Annual ASA Recruiting Tournament.  The team won 2 bracket games--both in extra innings over Destruction and 93 Olathe Rockets to advance to the championship game.  Another good day of  great pitching from Jill and Cheyenne,  timely hits from everyone and solid defense.   Highlights included a triple play (though the Umpire missed the call at first) by Bethany,  several great catches in the outfield by Kassie, Mackenzie and Brooke,  Bethany and Michaela each had multiple  hits all day to have high on base percentage , 2 big hits each by Megan, Brooke and Mackenzie,  several sac bunts by Kassie, good defense by Ellie, Lauren and Sam and of course the overall drive to win today.   It was a great success.
