SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 12U TEAM WANTING TO PLAY OPEN BASES IN OUR FALL SELECT LEAGUE!

We have had several inquiries from 12u managers wanting to play open bases this Fall. As Katy National does not have a field suitable to play 50/70 without major modifications we are unable to offer open bases for this format, (50/70). With this said, we do have an option of playing the 12u open base team on 54/80 format. Several of you have stated this option was agreeable and would be very interested in signing up your team.

Please email Trip Stidham if you want to participate in the 12u open base division so we can decide if this division could make.

2008 Fall Select League
9u - 16u Katy Klassic Select League 

Katy Klassic Tournaments in conjunction with Katy National (KNLL) is running a weekend select league at the Katy National (KNLL) fields.  Ages 9-12 will play Double Headers every other Sunday and we will do make-ups on Saturday when needed.  Ages 13-16 will play Double headers every other Saturday with Sunday’s reserved for rain-outs.  Ages 9 & 10 will play open bases 46/65 "CLOSED BASE IS AN OPTION SHOULD THE OPEN BASE FORMAT NOT MAKE", 11&12 will be LL closed-bases, 13u will play 54/80, and ages 14-16 will play 60/90. In addition, we are working on a Junior Varsity Division which would play at local area high schools.

 

The league will start on Sept 13th and end November 16th  Weekend 1 odd ages (9, 11, 13, 15); Weekend 2 even ages (10, 12, 14, & 16).  The weekend of November 7 - 9 there will be no league games as we will be hosting our annual Veteran’s Day Tournament.

           

Currently the game times will start at 9:00am and concluding at 7:00pm.  We will try and divide teams equally between the game times.

 THE NUMBER OF TEAMS WE WILL ACCEPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE NUMBER OF DIVISIONS WHICH MAKE! 

The entry fee is $1,100.00 and you are guaranteed 10 games; 8 league games plus season ending double-elimination tournament.  We will provide 2 umpires per game and 2 baseballs per game.

All tournaments are fundraisers for Katy National Little League (KNLL) and are played at the home of KNLL which is in the Harris County Katy Park off of Mortin Ranch Rd & Katy Hockley Cut-Off in Katy.
